SDS has been one of the pioneering firms in creating Double Bottom Line (DBL) and Triple Bottom Line (TBL) private equity investment funds. In conjunction with our affiliated partner, Economic Innovation International, Inc., SDS has developed or is in the process of capitalizing more than $2 billion of funds within this $10-$12 billion industry. These funds seek to achieve three bottom lines:

First Bottom Line:	Provide market-rate private equity returns to its investors.
Second Bottom Line:	Invest in real estate projects or businesses located in predominantly low-income communities in order to create jobs and economic opportunities.
Third Bottom Line:	Support environmentally friendly and sustainable green buildings or activities.
