Ken Mayne serves as the Chief Investment Officer of Strategic Development Solutions (SDS) and Strategic Development Investments (SDI), a wholly owned subsidiary of SDS. As CIO of SDS, Mr. Mayne plays a strategic role in in guiding SDS investment process and corporate growth.


Mr. Mayne formerly served as President and Chief Investment Officer of Roll and Ross Asset Management where he managed up to $475M for a variety of domestic and international benchmarks including large cap, growth, and value. He has extensive experience performing financial research to incorporate into investment strategies. He also oversaw development of the firm’s quantitative strategies relating to innovations and customization for specific client’s needs and the development of performance attribution analysis. Mr. Mayne received his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute, holds a M.A. in Economics from UCLA and a B.A. in Economics from UC Davis. He also serves as the Treasurer for Sustainable Communities Fund, a 501(c)3 foundation launched by the founders of SDS and Economic Innovation.
