Julia Elrick manages and creates the impact reports for SDS’ New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) investments and clients. She conducted the analysis of Haven for Hope, the largest most comprehensive homeless transformation campus in the country, which was presented before a U.S. Congressional Committee. She also assists in building SDS’ Triple Bottom Line funds and coordinates and drafts NMTC applications which have received $247 million in allocation internally and $149 million for clients. Ms. Elrick is also the CIIS and Impact Manager, overseeing staff relative to their impact data collection and reporting.
Ms. Elrick previously assisted with research and market assessments, and supported management of SDS’ nonprofit client projects in capacity building and fundraising efforts which resulted in $4 million raised for clients, with tasks including grant writing and research. Before joining SDS, Ms. Elrick worked with several departments within UCLA Extension and at Tenacre Foundation in Princeton, NJ.
Ms. Elrick has completed the Writers’ Program at UCLA Extension and is working on her second novel. She enjoys hiking, reading and letting her younger brother teach her to ski. She also serves as the President of the Board of Asher House Los Angeles, a local non-profit.
