Julia Elrick - Research Associate
As Research Associate, Ms. Elrick assists with research, market assessments, and impact analysis reports for National New Markets Fund investments and SDS’ Triple Bottom Line funds. Ms. Elrick helped coordinate two applications for the 2008 New Markets Tax Credit allocation. Previously, Ms. Elrick supported the management of SDS’ nonprofit client projects and assisted in capacity building and strategic fundraising efforts, including grant writing, and research.
Previous to her position at SDS, Ms. Elrick worked with multiple departments within the UCLA Extension, mainly helping the Writers’ Program department coordinate and schedule courses. Before this she worked at the Tenacre Foundation in Princeton, NJ.
Ms. Elrick graduated cum laude with her B.A. in both Economics and English Literature from Principia College. In her free time, she plays Coed Touch Football and Softball for a league in Venice. She has also completed the Writers' Program at UCLA Extension and is working on her second novel.
